• Microsoft Corporation releases the first version of Windows, Windows 1.0.
• Data Center Services, Inc., better known as D.C.S.I, is formed. Data Center Services, Inc. started providing the Chicagoland area with standardized procedures and specifications for Data Center maintenance.

Founded in 1985, DCSI has been providing clients with the best possible services and products the industry has to offer. It was our main goal back then, and still remains today. While our beginnings afforded us the ability to provide Data Center Critical Environment services in Chicago, we can now also provide those same services and Data Center Optimization nationwide. We are currently striving to provide the newest technology and best products available on the market in an ever changing industry. While data center maintenance has been our flagship service, we have grown to be much more. We are currently offering Data Center Optimization with our AirSaver Program, raised access floor construction and post-construction services, and a variety of accessories. Our list of partners also continues to grow. We have successfully serviced millions of square feet and are always looking forward towards the next million.
